Raised in Delray Beach, FL, SarenaB endured discrimination as a child. She was the only Puerto Rican in her neighborhood at the time, living in an elderly Jewish community, and was looked down upon. They would call racial slurs to her family members and talk poorly about her. Being so young, she didn’t fully comprehend it at the time, but as she grew older, she didn’t let her past affect her self-image. She grew from the dirt that was placed on her name, and now she is a star. SarenaB’s self-confidence is so high today that you would never guess what she has endured. She truly knows how to turn her pain into power, using music as an outlet to help others who’ve experienced similar situations.
SarenaB is the type to go to work when all odds are stacked against her because she doesn’t see failure as an option. She keeps her friend circle small, having learned from experience that most people come into her life for a reason or a season. However, that doesn’t hold her back from building relationships and networking in the industry.
