Sleigh Bells are back with their first new music in more than three years, following 2021’s Texis. What’s more, the noise-pop duo of singer Alexis Krauss and producer-guitarist Derek Miller have announced a 2025 North American tour. Give the band’s “Wanna Start a Band?” a listen below.
According to Krauss, the track dates back to over a decade ago. “Derek started messing with the riff for this song around 2014 — it needed a lot of work, but a spark was there,” she explained. “We had a band by then but didn’t know how long it would last. For us, this song is a reminder of how we started but it’s also the first part of a new story we want to tell—more on that very soon! We hope you will come along for the ride.”
Sleigh Bells’ upcoming tour takes place this spring, beginning on May 7 in Phoenix, Arizona. From there, Krauss and Miller make their way across the United States and Canada, stopping in most major cities before ending the run on June 15 in Madison, Wisconsin. Find their complete list of tour dates below.
